All of us at Mike Pallone Chevrolet are grateful for your support and patronage over the last 40 years. Much has changed in our community and within our business throughout those years. Today we find ourselves facing changes that are yet to come in the next year.

 

In May of 2009 General Motors gave us the choice to either enter into a ‘Wind- Down’ agreement or face nearly immediate termination. Mike Pallone Chevrolet has entered into the ‘Wind-Down’ agreement with them. In so doing, we will continue to operate into 2010.

 

At some point in time during 2010, we are obligated by the terms of the agreement to cease operating as a General Motors dealer. Until such time, we will continue to provide General Motors warranty service, as well as all other services, in the same manner as we have in the past.

 

Our new vehicle sales will continue until the current inventory is exhausted. The ‘Wind-Down’ agreement prohibits us from ordering additional new vehicles from General Motors.

 

It is our wish to continue to serve the Springfield community in some transformed manner. We are in the process of exploring all available options, including opportunities to relocate our Service and Parts operations within the Springfield market. We will provide updates regarding any progress in this regard in future communications.
